About Us

We think the three most important things about scouting are learning new skills, becoming better people, and HAVING FUN WITH A PURPOSE! Pack 772 meets the second Wednesday of each month in the Olivenhain Meeting Hall on Rancho Santa Fe Road.

Most of our Scouts attend Olivenhain Pioneer, and La Costa Heights Elementary Schools, but we also have boys from other surrounding schools. Scouts may join when they enter first grade and they bridge to Boy Scouts in the fifth grade. We currently have 40 Scouts spread over five dens and patrols. In February we bridged 11 fifth graders to local Boy Scout troops and anticipate bridging another 11 next February.

Memorable annual events include the Encinitas Holiday Parade, Pinewood Derby, family camping at Dos Picos, William Heise County Park, Del Mar Beach on Camp Pendleton, Indian Hills in Jamul, and various other locations in San Diego County. Pack 772 service activities include environmental improvement projects, assisting elderly community members, placing flags and wreaths on the graves of fallen service persons at the Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery on holidays, and random acts of kindness.
